New Today

Today I got a letter from Barnes & noble about their requirements for stocking books in stores. I have to write out promotional and marketing plans. Most importantly, I have to order extra copies of My Mentality.

Views On Writing

To some, writing seems easy. To others it may seem like a tall feat. But to me, it's like a rollercoster. At first you start off slow, unsure about how it's going to be in the end. But then you start to pick up pace, things are moving rapidly along. The words, and ideas flows faster as you reach your mount and begin to descend into a steady wave of excitement. Then all to quickly - it's over. You're at the end, and at first you can't decide if it was worth it or not. Yet you remember it, and soon you begin to cherish the wave of emotions that brought you to this point. More often then not, you can't wait for your next ride. Your next inspiration. Your muse. The thing with writing (to me) is not to force it. Relax. When the time comes you will know it and nothing will be able to stop you. Whether you record it or write it down on a piece of paper, you WILL get it down!

Inspiration

When you feel the world is on your shoulders,
And you think that it will never let up...
Have faith for troubles don’t last always.

When you think your wishes will never come true,
And that you will never find someone to love you…
Have faith for that special one is near.

When heartaches and heartbreaks is all that you have,
And pain is all that you feel...
Have faith for your misery will end.

When it seems like everyone is on your back,
And no one is giving you slack…
Have faith for your burdens will soon be gone.

When it seems like you give all your love,
And receive none back…
Have faith for love is on its way.

So have Faith in all that you do,
Even when your skies are blue.

The Other Woman

my friends keep telling me that you don’t care
they say I’m foolish because there’s no real love there
somewhere there’s another woman
who gives you pleasure and endless fun

the rumors are spreading everywhere in the streets
and one day soon we will eventually meet
then, my love, all your nightmares will come true
because then I will know all that you do

the other woman will feel my anger
she will regret every time you banged her
I will make her suffer because she knew who I was
I will inflict upon her such horrible pain, because…

you will see rage that will make you quiver in your shoes
you will bleed and cry and plead, and still you will lose
the family that has been formed over the years
and the only woman who has helped you through your fears

so be with that other woman, if she’s worth all the pain
that will be my gift to you, for making me feel in vain
I gave my heart and devotion freely to you
but by all I love, you’re doomed if you’re ever untrue
